We'll Work till Jesus Comes...

Pictures! ..not good quality, but pictures none the less. The Property for a distribution center will have the foundation pad finished today for the first container due the 7th. Now we will start on a security perimeter wall and second pad for the second container. Still needs electric and water as well. Anyone want to help?
We helped John Baptist in Corpus last night. Played a gospel movie and presented a clear gospel presentation. It was a nice change from rest of the events Sunday.
A funeral for Milto Lagos, the husband of a young lady in Baluarte Baptist Church died Saturday morning. He was 22 and had a 2 week old baby. He woke while it was yet night for work, ate, sat down for a minute and God said “this night thy soul shall be required of thee”. He did not have a testimony of salvation. His mother could not container herself and opened the casket made of paneling as the men were lowering it into the grave. A little chaos broke out, many unsaved people present. The sweetest part was Ronnie with his plywood and spray painted guitar spontaneously began to sing and the rest of the ladies of Baluarte began to sing, it was like David singing unto Saul. The crowd calmed and the evil spirit departed. I would love to give Ronnie a real guitar. Life in Honduras is hard and raw, but you can see clearly the heavenly stars of God without the overcast of wealth.
Are you praising the LORD today?
That's what he made you for

A picture-less post.

It would be normal to post a photo here but our old faithful camera has finished it’s course. We are praying and working on getting a new one quickly but mail here takes 3-6 weeks. As for Events and Praises, there are many. Some of the fleet has sold in the USA. The First shipping container is in route! …should arrive before a camera. The purchase of two small solars(building lots) on the edge of Choluteca was made to put the containers on. Plus work begun on a foundation for a 40x40 distribution center.

Enemensio has begun Bible studies in the mud hut on the mountain and the humble beginnings of that church are growing. All 5 (could use more) of the Institute DVD players were claimed for use in 5 ministries; to start as soon as we get the curriculum copied. The risogragh (copier) is in the container that is coming. Two of the pastors are traveling 8 hours to get institute supplies and take it home with them. After teaching some soul winning lessons, a door to door visitation program here has begun in earnest on Sunday afternoons; Several salvations already. A purchased of 200lbs of rice/beans was made for the young people to distribute to poor families as they saw the need while soulwinning.
There is a need to start a church in our own neighborhood (barrio). There are hundreds sleeping in shanties along the river only about 100 yards from where I am sitting. Each and every one needs Christ. All in due time I suppose. I used to pray even so LORD come quickly...now it seems I pray "Lord I need another day". The 20 year old son of the man who owns the Voodoo circus died of electrocution yesterday. He rejected the gospel just a little more than a week ago. I believe God exercised Proverbs 6:15 and 29:1. It is sad to know sometimes our witness is not for salvation-- but for judgment.
The need for a good truck is ever increasing. The used Mitsu 4x4 has not come available yet and we now know it will need engine work as well but the price is cheap. A new Kia 4x4 would sure be nice but if we sell our fleet and buy it there would be nothing left to import containers, build a distribution center, pay lawyers, ect. Even in a poor country money disappears very quickly.

The VooDoo Circus Has Left !

….After a month of very loud music. So loud, it would make our furniture vibrate and dust from our roof fall. You could not work, read, study, think, sleep or carry on a conversation. The relentlessly pounding even made us ill. We even found ourselves staying out late just so we did not have to go home. Last night, we came in from church and Sasha said "do you hear that?"... "What?" came the reply from the family. With a big smile she said "EXACTLY". For a month about 30 people have lived next door without water, any kind of bathrooms or garbage service. Drinking, selling their stuff and performing for small crowds, people passing out and throwing up around our house. The pungent stench and filth they left behind is better than the sound when they were here.
Thank You all for your prayers they were needed.

A Day of Rest....

A day of rest… We all were invited to a picnic near the Nicaraguan border. I was asked to preach and do an open air round table. Any question could be asked… all directed at me. And they did. Marriage/ divorce/ lies/ miracles/ demons/ security/Laodicean church/, the whole spectrum. All was well, the Bible had all the answers and the Holy Spirit guided and I was more than willing to stay out of the way. ¿Meat? soup was served that was very good. The kids enjoyed the woods, playing lettuce, and soccer. Sasha came home with a rash but it did not last long. That afternoon we pick up our equipment and new homemade movie screen and headed out to a large barrio built by USaid after Hurricane Mitch. I am told it was where the “rough” crowd went. This time we blocked off a street and set up the screen against a wall. It was different than other outreaches here for sure. Many kids have never been taught restraint and wickedness lurks everywhere.. It really brought back memories of inner-city bus ministry and the skill in working them. A church, a church daycare and a feeding center would do wonders here. If only I had the time, money and laborers. The problem in this barrio is the “Blue Glow” telling them they are not worth anything unless they are like them…aka TV. The goal is to go to the USA. No one is content with what they have and the blue glow tells them they should not be. I think it is a worldwide problem; it is just the contrast makes it very visible here. At the point the power lines end, so does hyperactivity.
We picked up a few things for all 7 kids in Alba's family today and had a very good short visit, lots of hugs and kisses. For the evening church service at Balluarte, we went to pick up Blanca and her family plus 1/2 the barrio then drove by to ask Alba if she wanted to go. A brief pause then a nod yes. AMEN! Then Tonio jumped in as well. Church was good, both paid attention and sat real close leaning on Lisa, we had a meeting for the men afterwards(to begin soul winning on Sundays) and the kids all played outside. It is only the 2nd time we have seen Alba relaxed with heart felt smiles and laughter since she left. She brought her new Bible and used it. She has kept it spotless, it is the only thing in her house that is. Keep praying, never know how the Holy Spirit is working.
Pray: about containers to ship soon, a vehicle, property, Bible Institute, health and that ALL we are and do gives God Glory.
